Description

Learn how to make your own journal, zine, or creative look book using pamphlet stitches and embellishing it with your favourite mementos; scraps of paper, fabrics, vintage book pages, and other materials.

The journal can be used to write down your thoughts and ideas, use as a mini scrapbook, or collate keepsakes.  Pamphlet stitches can easily be used to make zines and greeting cards and are great for unique gifts and little travel journals and more.  They are a great place to bring your little scrappy notes together into your own book.  Any size you like, any number of pages, potential is endless!

All basic materials will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring along wrapping paper, pages from magazines or newspapers, vintage book pages, scribbles and notes etc which they want to incorporate in their journal.

Small class size of maximum 8 participants.

Journal–making for Creatives Facilitator is Kay Watanabe.

Suitable for participants aged 12+.  We will be using sharp tools (needles and scissors). Participants under 16 must be accompanied by an adult and both should purchase a ticket.

Please note, the number of tickets that you can choose from to purchase reflects the number of total tickets still available, if you cannot select multiple tickets it means there is only 1 ticket/space left in this workshop
