Description

Please note, this workshop is on FRIDAY September 22nd. In this workshop participants will learn how to use bees wax to make their own bees wax food wraps.

Participants will choose from fabrics provided on the day to make a bowl cover and a sqaure wrap.  This workshop will teach participants tips and tricks to get the best results for their wraps, the best fabrics to use and how to care for their new wraps.  As an additional bonus participants will take home enough bees wax to make more wraps at home using the techniques they've learned and their own fabrics.

This workshop is unsuitable for those who are allergic to bee products.

All materials provided. 

Now with a smaller class of just 8 participants.

Suitable for participants 10+.  We use an oven to melt the wax and participants are required to handle hot materials.

Please note, the number of tickets that you can choose from to purchase reflects the number of total tickets still available, if you cannot select multiple tickets it means there is only 1 ticket/space left in this workshop

Class Schedule

Workshop will be held on FRIDAY 22nd September and runs from 12:30pm until 2pm.

Enclosed Footwear is required by participants at every workshop. Hands On Brisbane reserves the right to refuse entry to a workshop if the attendee is not wearing suitable attire.

Participants are required to sign a waiver at the workshop they attend. Participants are to follow instructions, safety precautions and advice when given.

Participants are required to arrive on time.  Our workshops will start on time.  If you are not attending on the day please contact Hands On Brisbane using the contact information in the mail out that is sent a few days before the event.  If you are unable to attend on the day please pass your ticket on to a friend.  As we prepare in advance for the number of attendees we are unable to offer you a refund.
